How far are you from you closest Lush store?

Many people on the NA forums talk about how they are hours and hours away from a store. How far are you from a store? Before one recently opened up in Michigan (which is now 20 minutes away), I was about 45 minutes (give or take) from the closest store, but going there meant I would have to cross the canadian/us border, which is expensive and a pain.

My closest LUSH is just a 20 minute trolley ride away! I'm so glad they opened the Philly store. (I'm also glad that I no longer live in my old apartment--2 blocks away from the store! I would never have money.)

I work about four blocks from one, which has been detrimental to my paychecks! I can walk there on my lunchbreak. It's nice if I ever need to pick something up, but I can never just go in just for my staples, I'm a sucker for more bath stuff. Since I love to cocktail, I buy more before I've even run out so I can have more selection. DH is about to kill me.

There's a Lush store about 20 minutes from my apartment if I take the Portland Streetcar. I'm not sure how long it takes to drive there, but since a) I don't drive and b) I live right on the Streetcar line, I don't have to worry about that.

I'm about three or four hours away from the closest Lush store. I live out in the middle of nowhere in the desert, and it's just not worth it for me to go all the way out to where the store is. There's nothing else in that area, and the gas expenses are insane. I order online, instead.

I am near several LUSH stores... :) The perks of living in New York City! The Queens store is in the mall where I go to Target and Best Buy - about 15 minutes by subway. The Herald Square store is where I normally shop, it is pretty much on my way to school - I just pop out of the subway station and there it is! There's also a store on the Upper West Side that I haven't been too, and they're opening one in SoHo which is near my school (I go to NYU) so I'm in trouble!

I have to take a train to Boston to get there, which takes approximately an hour. It's worth it, though! I go every other weekend or so.

My closest Lush store is about a 7 hour drive from me, in Boulder, CO. Boo! Luckily I still visit my parents who live in DC several times a year, and the Lush Georgetown is pretty close to them.

When i lived in York i used to live about a 15-20 min walk from the store there in the city centre which is how i got addicted to Lush in the first place. It was really convienient for me. However, now that i live in Grimsby it's much further to my nearest store, which is in Hull. It takes about half an hour to three quarters of an hour depending on the traffic, but the main probem is that i can't drive myself, and my bloke has a large van. Now to get to Hull you have to go over the Humber Bridge, and they charge my bloke £5 each way to go across in his van, and i just can't afford this, so then my other option is to go to the store in Lincoln, which is three qwuarters of an hour to an hours drive away. I tend to write a list of stuff i want and give it to my mum whenever she says she's going to Hull or Lincoln!

15 minutes walk. This is a bad thing. It makes it horribly easy to spend money.

The new store in Michigan is about 15 minutes away from me. I've been there once, but I still think I'll be doing most of my shopping online. Maybe I'm phobic, but I don't really like how so many things are just set out unwrapped, so that anyone can handle them. I never went to the Windsor store, because, as you said, it's a pain to cross the border these days. I'll definitely go into the Troy store to look and smell, though!

My nearest Lush is literally a five minute walk! I don't know how I'd cope if I had to train or plane it to get to one! That would be a nightmare :( I'm in Lush at least twice a week just to speak to the lovely SA's as they are all mental and wonderful. I'm lurking so I can get a job there ;)

I was over an hour away from the closest Lush before the new shopping centre opened up in Plymouth. Now its only a 15 min drive. As you can imagine I was very excited when I first went shopping there and was hit by the unmistakeable smell of Lush!
