What's the best advice you can give? I'm about to get my first apartment and I was wondering if anyone has any helpful tips about apartment living- whether to save money or just to make things work better in general. Thanks!

thecaitycat Make a point of cleaning your apartment once a week, especially if you're messy and disorganized like me. It's really easy to put it off and let your apartment become a disaster.

thecaitycat I snore and I kick in my sleep. I think that counts as bed-hogging. My boyfriend does all three of the things you mentioned. Since all we have right now is a twin-size bed, we take turns sleeping on the bed and the couch. That way we don't kick each other...

thecaitycat My boyfriend made a pasta cause from tomatos, olive oil, garlic cloves, basil, parsley, and cilantro. I don't remember where he found the exact recipe, but it was amazing sauce.

thecaitycat Add me to the list of people considering this surgery. Between glasses and contact lenses I pay way too much money. I've heard that while the success rate isn't quite 100%, it's still very high.

thecaitycat Good luck! I've been doing job interviews for six years and it does get easier. Wear clothes that look nice but that are COMFORTABLE. Don't wear fancy shoes or pants that look good but are scratchy/too small. Physical comfort makes a difference.
