I would suggest that you talk to your local church as they sometimes help people who have difficulties out. Have you approached the landlord yet to let him know that you will be late paying the rent?

I was going to suggest a church, they are really great about helping out where they can.

If you have 18 good friends then ask them to GIVE you $10 each. Or if you have 18 relatives just borrow $10 from each of them. Try to get a job soom and then you can give them back the money if they ask for it or if you want to.

That's a very good idea :-) 10 quid to them would be nothing but added up just enough :-)

Go to your local Salvation Army....They are so wonderful in situations like this. They helped my husband and I when we faced similar situation. Best part for us...there was no judgment upon us, they graciously provided as we humbly showed them proof of our situation.

It depends where you live at, but in some states, the land lord can not legally serve you with a three day eviction notice. He must give you thirty days. If you lost your job, you need to explain to him what's going on. I suggest going to a church, a township trustee, and then get your butt over to the HUD office and apply for assistance.

I'd say talk to your landlord ... BTW is this rent weekly as it seems very cheap :-) I've found that if they know your situation and you have a good history with them they will want to help you so that they keep a trustworthy tenant :-)

First thing to do is discuss it with your landlord, if he knows the situation, he might be able to work out something for you. There are organisations which may be able to help. If you show your landlord that you are looking for work, he might allow you a month's grace, which a lot of landlords do nowadays anyway. I'm nt sure but I think he would also have to give you a lot more than 3 days notice, depending on your contract.
