Each one of us has a distinct body language while expressing ourselves. For some it is visibly noticeable while for others its not. I've seen some people wave their arms around a lot while talking, some sit cross legged all the time and some have other unique signs.
I quote "Kinesics is the interpretation of body language such as facial expressions and gestures — or, more formally, non-verbal behaviour related to movement, either of any part of the body or the body as a whole."
The following link gives an explanation as to what each gesture signifies. It is interesting to know what it means. Take a look.

Do you have any of these gestures as part of your body language?

As a motivational speaker, I am constantly aware of my own body language and the body language of others. There are times I present with a certain body language purposely. Depending on what I am trying to acheive. I, therefore beleive that body language is a choice and learned behavior for some.

I like to call myself a people watcher - I just love to watch peoples body language, I find it fascinating.
Body language, non-verbal communication by means of facial expressions, eye behaviour, gestures, posture, and the like.
Body language expresses emotions, feelings, and attitudes, sometimes even contradicting the messages conveyed by spoken language.
Some non-verbal expressions are understood by people in all cultures; other expressions are particular to specific cultures.
Kinesics, the scientific study of body language, was pioneered by the anthropologist Ray L. Birdwhistell, who wrote Introduction to Kinesics (1952.)
As for me I use my hands when I talk, or so I'm told lol
