Yes I always experience flood, almost every rainy season here in the Philippines. When I was younger, he use to play when there are floods in our area. Young enough not to listen to elders who always remind us that flood brings disease.

Yes, I have. A few years ago when Hurricane Ivan came through Pennsylvania. I had never seen anything like it before. We had rain half way up building doors with storm drains right in front of the buildings. The rain came down so hard and fast that the drains could not take it all. I have a creek that runs adjacent to my property and it over-flowed. My hubby called and told me to leave work early because our road was completely flooded and the flood waters was heading towards the house. Thank God, it stopped about 20 feet from entering our home. We were one of the lucky ones. Others in the area lost everything. There basements were completely engulfed in water. Devastating!

Radesh, I have experienced floods in my place and the worst is when floodwaters rose to over six feet. It's a good thing that my house has a second level.

i have witnessed it so many times in my life , every rainy season , there are flooding in my region, water enters in my house and causes damage to furniture and house ,about two years it was worst the water reached about three feets in my locality and everything was drowned in my house ,it took lot of finacial pain in our pockets to rebuild everything again but the major benfit of floods is that the water table in my region gets replenished and there is no shortage of water during summers

i have seen flood so many time here in my country. My mom's village is at the river bank and whenever there is a rain for a week, the water level will raise...so we cannot go to my grandma house. At my father's village, we only experience the only one flood until now when i was about 10...the flood no to deep but the water move very fast....and we have to move my father's chickens and birds to ensure they are safe.

I live by the river so we see floods here a lot. Usually the water doesnt even make it to my back yard. I dont worry about it unless I see it getting close to my house. I have video taped it a few times when it has overfilled its banks. It is an awesome site to watch.
