Since I joined this site my two fingered typing has improved but my spelling I still wonder about, I can type it pretty quick now but spend a while checking the spelling, so I wrote this wee poem I hope you like it xx
SPELL CHECK
I'd like two spel bettir
I'm shur you do two
I keep spellin words rong
Just out of the blew
I look at it twise
And I think is that wright
Orr is it awl rong
Is it two laight at nite
Pepole will think
Is she reely that thik
I think that I'd better use spellcheck

I absolutely agree with that idea. There should be some buttons somewhere near this text area or input field. This buttons have bold, italic, underline and can color text. And the text area should automatically detect for mispelled words.

Hi Weemam, yes your typing has improved a lot since you started on here which is great, yes I have to check my spelling too unfortunately as I type so fast that I want to make sure that I have spelt the word correctly as other members are going to read my discussions and then I would feel upset when I see it come out here so I double check now when I type just incase as better to feel great than feeling upset just because I did not spend the time to correct my work here.

lol....ma spellings are disastrous too!!!! i use a lot of short formz / text language..as im soo used to texting!! also as i am always chattin wid ma frend online...again i use the short formz!!!
this really givz me a headache as i hav soooo many red lines at the end of a para!!!
but im tryin to improve ....really i am!!

Hehe. Nice poem. I Have notice that I can also type faster and spell better now that I have joined my lot. I have internal spell checker that comes with Firefox 2.0 but I have notice less red lines the more post that I do. I am 20 years old and I have the spelling of a 8 year old. So mylot.com has helped me A lot in this.

I also use two fingers to type. I am getting a little faster at it, but my spelling still is not the best. I found myself having to ask my wife how to spell a word. (At least she has a master's degree in English.)

Well very much the same is here, but for the two finger typing I use all my fingers but for the thumb of the left hand and my typing speed has gone up too after joining mylot.

I have never used spell check, but yes, my typing has gone WAY up. I can do near 75 words a minute, if it is something off the top of my head. That is what makes mylot so easy for me. I can type a message in under a minute. I liked the poem, and thanks for sharing :)
