Do You Play The Lotto Or Enter Competitions?

I don't have much luck with the lottery, but I do like sites which offer you free lotto, for example one site gives you ten free games every day, you collect points for 1 to 4 matches which you can use to exchange for prizes. If you get 5 winning numbers you win vouchers up to £30 or if you get all six numbers you win a £4,000 holiday or its doubled if you win on the 10th game. It doesn't cost me a penny which is what I like. I enter lots of competitions which are free on the net, do you do lottos or enter competitions? I have been quite successful, my biggest win has been a widescreen colour television and I've had lots of wins of DVDs, money, clothes and cds.

Wolfie, I used to enter just about every other contest that I could find online. I think that I won oh, maybe once. *laugh* I gave up on all that a few years ago. It got boring entering my address and details in over and over, lol! But I agree, it's really exciting if you win ^_^ I also don't play the lottery, although like you I have played free lotto games online. I never won anything on them, though. I really prefer Netwinner as an online game. You can earn points towards gift cards to great stores like Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble. I've already gotten one Target gift card sent to me from Netwinner. ^_^

Yes, I agree it does get repetitive and you really need a good win to keep you motivated, when it becomes a chore its time to give up. Good luck with Netwinner, fingers crossed for you and thanks as always for your response, appreciated.

I don't play lotto and I've always blamed my father for playing. It's a million on one chance that one will even get his money back. Competitions... I don't strive to take part in competitions, but when an EASY and non-timeconsuming opportunity arises - I do. The chances on most competitions and lottos just repell me.

I only enter ones which are for UK residents, and yes it can be boring keep entering your details, but you've got to be in it to win it as they say. I sincerely hope you do win something! Thanks for your response.

yes, we play free lotto(used to) at email-lotto and being from Canada was quite surprised to receive a $5 cheque from the States!very impressive only problem was that U need to surf sites in exchange for tickets and a lot of sites are from Casinos which gave us untold amount of trouble with our browsers and almost impossible to get rid of!!!but maybe U`s will have better luck!

Cooking contests and recipes are where the action is for me, wolfie! :) My chances of winning one of these is much better that hitting the lotto, any day! :) I try and enter at least 13 huge purse contests every year. So far, no giant prizes, ($5000.00 tops) but plenty of smaller ones. The competions are honest and numerous, too! They don't cost a dime to enter and some of the big prizes can be in the millions of dollars... I've already entered the $50,000 Build A Better Burger Contest... can you imagine getting a check that big for a sandwich? There's also a $100,000 Chicken Cooking Contest, Too! Dude, how would you like it if that chicken dinner you put together won you a "load of lettuce" like that! :) Oh, by the way, if you like entering internet competitions, why not try signing up for some sweepstakes software, that can have you enter them by the thousands at once, every month? My recipe for mussels, sausage and chicken, just got the "once over" by a bigwig in this excellent mussel farming company who is have a recipe contest... sound like good news might be on the way! :)

I have entered qiute a few free lottos and it is usuallly exciting at first with dreams of all the moolah on the way! After a while though, having spent several near sleepless nights the excitement wears off. Some of the practices of these sites are questionable. For example one week after joining I received an e-mail informing me that I had won over $1Million. All I had to do was to claim "in accordance with their rules". My daughter, who had also joined received an identical message.Try as we might we never succeeded in claiming according to their rules!

No, I do not play the lootery at all. If I found a free one like you I might though. I don't paly for a couple reaons. One is that my Grandma has been playing since the lottery was born. She has yet to hit the big millions after years of playing. I know she hits from time to time but nothing significate. My parents also played a lot. The came one number short of hitting the million and got only $1000. Seems that if you get that close you should get a more signicate figure.

I don't enter the games online, it's hard to tell which ones are legit. I enter our state lotto every now and again but I've never had any luck. My husband falls victim to the scratch off lotto tickets he picks up at the gas station, the most he's won is $50.

Wow - then you have been lucky! We do the football pools every week, but that is about all. We have two lines, - I just pick random numbers, my partner (who is a huge football fan), works out all the odds, and possibilities for each game. Funnily enough - the only week we won, it was with my numbers, not his! LOL!! I might occasionally buy a "lucky dip" Lottery ticket, if there is a rollover week or something, but that's all. Hope you carry on winning.

wow that's great! I used to be on queue to lottery stalls. BUt I've never had luck so far. I hit 4 out of 6 numbers, which didn't pay much. Because of that small winning, I would always patiently wait my turn to play, but I didn't win again. I tried doing taking the lucky numbers from the fortune-tellers of one of the tabloids but it didn't work. It's been about half a year since I stopped playing lotto. But I'm never giving up yet.

You are so lucky! I mean, even when you choose competition you win! Well, they say the losers are those who do not participate. That may be true, because not taking risk is the greatest risk. I haver not won anything on the net yet. Maybe that's because I never participated. And my luck sucks, like most people so I never go for any lotto. Well, they say hard work pays, so that is what I am suppose to do.
