I know that the star by your username means how good of a rating you have but which color is the best color to have?? I have seen several different colors and do not know what the color means.

The best color to have is Blue. Blue means you have a very high rating of 10. I have been stuck at 9 for a while and was a 10 for one day. I have been sick this past week and just now starting to feel a little better so I can post to my friends discussions. I can't wait to be fully well, so I can get back on track.

The colours are associated with numbers from 1 to 10. There is no such thing as a "best colour", only a best number, which is, of course, 10. Star ratings is given to members with a number of 100+ postings based on their quality of posts and "+'s" and "-'s" received from other members. Higher the quality of postings higher the star rating! Good luck and keep up the good work!

Color coding is just eye catching. They have tried to tell us that it does not mean we are bad if it is a lower number. I sure pay attention to the 10's that I see with one sentence answers. Go figure. If you have lower than a 10 it is said that you just improve a bit and you will achieve a 10. I post more and do about the same thing, make more money and then my 10 becomes a 9. Don't understand that. Must be the plus sign usage which will meat it is a popularity thing. So sad. I answer your discussion and give you a plus. I do what I can.

The colour is specific to the number shown in the star. A 'ten' rating is the best rating you can have, the star for 'ten' is a dark blue. I think the colour is just there to make it easier to differentiate beween the ratings, as I know I look at the colour more than the number.

I have noticed the same thing and was wondering why. What is the meaning of the color. Maybe it is a random color and we are thinking it has meaning when it does not.
