Update on Chunkers!

OK, I've been away for a while...AGAIN! No crazy adventures in a Mexican Jail, etc. The truth is, we incorporated our biz this last week, have been doing taxes (UGH):( and dealing with normal day-to-day business crap that none of you want to hear. But, the good news is that, for Valentines Day, I am taking my fiance to the Bob Seger concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado! I rented a stretch H2 Hummer to drive us there and...THE BEST NEWS OF ALL.....on the way back I plan on stopping at our favorite watering hole where there will be kareoke, singing a duet with her ("Picture" by Kid Rock and Cheryl Crow) then, at the end of the song, proposing to her on stage! I know, I know....this is CRAZIER THAN THE TRIP TO THE MEXICAN JAIL! And, yes: she knows about my relationship with Juan! LOL (That's all a big joke for those of you who didn't read my former posts). I just spent a months' wages on an engagement/wedding ring combo and hope to be married by Spring! And I thought the $2,000 vacuum was expensive! I've asked her to marry me several times before, but she always said "Sure. Why not!" To me, that is not an acceptable answer, so we never pursued it. But she BETTER answer me correctly THIS TIME! So, that's the news on Chunkers! I hope all my friends here are doing well! I drop by once in a while to read your posts, but am too busy to get involved in a conversation that takes me away from work. For those of you who know my personal email, feel free to stay in touch via that route. BTW Does anyone know what happened to that young boy who said he was going to commit suicide around Christmas time? If so, please let me know!

Married by spring? This year? Dude, that's like a month away!
I'm getting married in August, but have been engaged since last Valentine's day.
Don't rush it. There's still time. Just plan it well.

Yup, Spring! The truth is...I met her on March 13th last year when she walked into my office to apply for a job. I hired her on the spot but she's now owner of the darned company! She's the president of the corp! How's that for perks?! When I make up my mind to do something, I don't let moss grow beneath my feet! She's a GREAT GAL and it seems like we've known one another our whole lives! I only hope marriage won't change everything! Thanks for the advice!

And here I thought you were kidding about the $2K vacuum cleaner... or are you? I think I'd rather spend time in a Mexican jail...
Anyway, welcome back and good luck... maybe you can get Bob Seger to put in a good word with your fiance for you.

NO! I wasn't kidding about the vacuum! And thanks for the well wishes! My roommate is a professional drummer and local celebrity around here. I'm trying to get him to pursue some backstage passes for us to meet Bob! He opened for him a few times with another band, so it might be possible! I'll let you all know what happens!

Thanks, Polly! I missed all of you as well! It will be an AWESOME DAY! I chose Valentines to propose so I wouldn't forget! I barely remember my own birthday....let alone hers! So, I think we'll try to get married on the first day of Spring....so I won't forget that, too! LOL BTW, we have 10 extra tickets I'm trying to sell. If you're going to be in Denver on the 14th, let me know!

One of my friends mentioned downing some pills, Well he is around although the picture is different the topics are definitely him.

You've definitely been missed around here, and now we know what you've been up to.
Good luck with your company and your proposal. You certainly are a romantic, and I'm sure all will go well. Can't wait to get an update after Valentine's Day. As someone else requested, be sure to post a picture of your wedding so we can all see the happy couple.

Welcome back Chunkers. It is great to see you back and sounds like you have a great and fun week coming up. That concert sounds nice and the Hummer is awesome. My neighbor just recently bought a Hummer 2 and it is nice, though it is not a limo Hummer. :-) Glad to hear that you have been doing well and are going to have a lot of fun this week. Hope that your business goes very well for you.

Thanks! Yes, I think I've got a good plan for the proposal! All the other times I asked her to marry me were either in the car, when I was drinking, or in the middle of something else! I'm really not much of a romantic, but I realized that, if I wanted her to say "yes", I'd better find a more romantic way of asking her! So, this is the best I could come up with!

Congrats Chunkers, sounds like you have a very romantic scenero for you to pop your question. I didn't think anyone did those things anymore. Put her on the spot..that will get her to give you the answer the way you want to hear it..lolol Good Luck!!!
