Does this center really help kids? I am thinking of enrolling my oldest in it since she doesn't qualify for esy. I'm really upset about that, and I really don't think the school district has my daughters best interest at heart. I am trying to contact her cooridinator as I have some questions. She still has yet to call me back. So what about it. Is it worth the money? Any success stories...abby has some learning problems, and is 1 1/2 yrs behind. Please help!

What is eay? I had a nephew who was sent to Sylvan, he said it was a rip off, and busy work. I would ask for some success sstories from in your local area. I think any program is only as good as the people implementing it.

i can relate to your problem because my sister is having the same problem. My oldest neice is falling behind in reading and her teacher says she does not qualify for after school help because she is still passing english! Her teacher even had the nerve to tell my sister to enroll her in the Sylvan learning Center. and my sister is like why should i spend money on this, when all you need to do is let her come to the after school program. i have not heard anything bad about Sylvan learning Center, so maybe it would be worth it since the public school systems are falling behind on this.
