guys just wanna tell you out there mostly the western peoples that we use shrimp paste in our culinary very much especially for malay food. I just love the smell of the food with this paste...but i am sure most of western peoples don't really like their food to be smelled like this,..some time i think it's weired with you guys since even durian smell also you don't like. This shrimp paste is widely used in malaysia, indonesia, thailand,...and may be Philippines......
