My children were exposed to computers from pre-kindergarden age and up. I, on the other hand, didn't work with a computer until I was in my mid 30's. My kids have really enjoyed making fun of me as I have SLOWLY learned the ins and outs of computer use! Here are some of the chat speak abbreviations of which I am aware: ROFLMAO: rolling on the floor laughing my a$$ off n00b: newbie AFK: away from keyboard B/F: boyfriend BF: best friend BFF: best friends forever BBL: be back later AKA: also known as OMG: oh my Gosh/God PLZ: please BTW: By the Way DL: download SUP: whats up TIA: thanks in advance TTFN: tata for now TTYS: talk to you soon ILY: I Love You WTH: what the heck WTF: what the f*ck JMO: just my opinion JK: just kidding L8R: later MYOB: mind your own business ZZZZL: bored or sleeping LYLAS: love ya like a sis IDK: i don't know h8: hate I could go on and on..but I'm tired now!!
