I once shook hands with Sean Connery. He was in Ireland for a golf tournament and he was having lunch in the brewery where I was working at the time. I was sitting out in the sun after finishing my lunch, and saw him coming from the visitor's lounge. I made a beeline for him and asked for his autograph and after he signed his name on my scrap of parer he spoke to me for a little while and then shook hands. It was so exciting and I didn't want to wash my hand for the whole afternoon.

I met Sally Fields after a play in town and got her autograph. I also met Tony Stewart from Nascar. He owns a track a few miles from here. He signed my 1/24 scale diecast Peanuts` car. He races there about 2 or 3 times a year and signs autographs. I was asked to go to the track's banquet where they give the trophies away for the year and meet the drivers. My barber works there 2 days a week and sells the drivers pit passes. He asked my wife and I to go. . your friend

People experience this only because they do not realize that those who are famous have times when they do not feel like being bothered.you might be meeting them for the first time, but before you had that opportunity, they could have signed over 400 autographs and now they are exhausted.

I've met a lot of people who are "famous" to me. No one else has probably ever heard of them, though. The most famous person I've met is probably Chad Michael Maury. I'm not even a fan of him.

I was in Old Tucson when I was little and Chuck Connors was there. He was doing the Rifleman. I got to say hi to him and his actor son Mark. That was great.
