Do you eat w/bare hands ???w/out using cutlery(spoon,knife,fork)

Let's not talk about culture..Some of my friends including family when we have our get together some of them use thier hands w/out using any cutlery when eating ..they said it is so good ..But my question did you or some of you tried it already?aside from eating finger food off coarse..How do you feel? can you say something about it???

It totally depends on what you are eating. If I am eating a sandwich or a bag of crisps or a pizza then I will use my hands, but if having a full blown dinner with meat and vegetables then the only way is with cutlery.

i personally don't eat with my hands unless it's finger food where you need to eat with your hands! my sister knows a few people who do and they sit next to her whilst eating she give me a good laugh telling me the other day, she said she had to move away fromt he person as they made her ill, haha it wasn't that tho it was the way the person ate it she said, it wasn't in a normal way as people would eat with their hands! ive seen a few people doing this also when ive been to eat out, i don't comment on them tho, it's really up to them, i couldn't care less really as longs as it's not me! :o)

That's true i do the same i don't care but,when they start digging on my plate i get so annoyed..How if you're eating w/ soup Yakks!!!i dont understand...i have nothing against they said i have to try it and ..i do to make them feel good but i can't eat properly...thanks ...

i am from india....and in india....most of the people eat with their hands..!! i have food with my hands but only when im at my house....when im out or at some function ....i eat with spoons and other cutleries!! it showz table manners.....
but frankly ...i find eating with hands...increases the taste of the food!! u enjoy it more...!!lol

There's an arabic main dish that is tradionally eaten by hand, and people still do that in my family.. but I always use a fork. I don't using my fingers much, I try to use utensils for everything.

Totally depends on the food. If it's mushy I use a spoon. If I can pick it up eat it, I usually will. If I'm able to use chopsticks, I prefer them over a fork...
the only thing I can think of that I eat with my hands (only at home) that is ususual is salad. I like to eat salad with my fingers!

I don't do it often but I am a fan of eating with my hands when chicken is served. I dont really remember how it started coz I remember being taught how to slowly remove the skin and the meat from the bone using a fork and knife. In fact, I can use that technique when removign the outer skin of shrimps! LOL. Talent!?! Anyway, I did this in public and I didn't really mind so much as long as I am enjoying my chicken.
