This is a really difficult question, Juls. I can't imagine stopping loving either of my sons (or my daughters, if it comes to that), so if one of them did come out of the closet (it seems unlikely, but these things do happen) we would keep on loving him. However, having had a friend who did this, we struggled for a while to keep the friendship up, and it's only in recent years that we've been able to renew the friendship. But it's something that does create a barrier, there's no doubt.
My best man at my wedding was gay, and I only found this out several years after having been friends since we were at school. We didn't stop being friends, but it meant we didn't necessarily go to the same places and meet each other's friends as readily.
I've had to come to terms with this issue over and over, as it's something that's always coming up in the theatre world where I've been involved on and off. I don't know that I've resolved it yet, but in the end we have to keep loving people who are gay, and keep on praying for them.

If it was a son, I couldn't condone the behaviour. I would always love him and pray for him, but it would be difficult to be around him with a same gender lover.

I would love and accept him as he is because that's the way God is. God knows the true reason why people are the way they are and he accepts them as they are. I feel that it's between him and God what his sexuality and morals are. Now, if he engaged in behavior that hurt other people or me, I wouldn't associate with him and I would ask him to stop.

LOL, that is like probably THE most ironic post I have ever read here!
how about this:
Pbbt heterophobes, you make Me concerned for the future of humanity!
doesn't that make more sense? since heterophobia is contrary to procreation?
these trigger insults activists come up with, are ridiculous.
