I know that cleveland got nailed and other parts of OH...as well as many parts of NY..Chicago got blasted too from what i understand.....Well I'm in Western New York (in between Buffalo and Rochester and about 5 - 7 miles from Lake Ontario) and we got decent snow last night and its still coming down....Mind you we havent gotten nearly as much as other parts of NY (like Oswego County! they've already got over 100" as of monday) but even so...I just spent the past hour shoveling and i'm not even a 1/4 of the way done..its windy, still snowing and somewhat cold.... whats it doin in your neck of the woods?

February is spring time in my city. It is also time for the Chinese Luna new year to arrive. Cold air from northern part of China frequently blows down here, making the temperature in our city drop to 10 degree C or below. Then the air will become very cold. You can see smoke comes out from our mouths when we breathe. Snow appears only the on tips of the peaks and most parts of our city don't have snowfall in winter and spring.

Yea we have a snowblower too and my husband told me at 5am while I was out there to just leave it and he'll snow blow when he gets home from work but I figure I can at least put a dent it in for him ya know....so far I've been out twice and hour each time and the crap just keeps coming!! I'll go out again later and do some more provided my body doesnt seize up by then LOL....Its a great workout though but the drift causings winds makes it somewhat of a pain in the rump..

Winter came to us late this year but it finely got here and it's nasty. We haven't had much snow and it's not pretty snow but it's getting crusted with ice and is dangerous. Uusually the first snowfall is a pretty one but that's not the case this year. the worst almost always comes in March so we have a lot of winter left to get through.

I'm in southern NH, and it's snowing pretty hard right now (approximately quarter to noon). Not sure when the snow started, except that it was after 1am last night. School's been cancelled and none of my roommates are going to work today because of the current road conditions. (Practicially everyone works two towns away, which means a nearly half-hour drive to work.) My weather button on my desktop says it's 16F, and we have a winter storm warning in effect until about 6:30 tonight.

Its still snowing here in WNY in fact after being out again for another hour shoveling (total of 3 hrs today) I gave up...its coming down faster than I can shovel it so its pretty much pointless...I'll let my husband do the rest with the snowblower...

Last nights snowfall - Here is what it looks like out my front door today :)
It snowed a bunch last night and then we had sleet on top of the snow on the road so it is pretty nasty out there. School was canceled here again and tomorrow we are supposed to be back into the -20 to -30's. yippee! aww..the pic didn't turn out as good as I hadn't wanted it to. That is the view out my front door. There is a road out front there if you can see it...lol

I'm also in NY... I'm about 45 miles south of Rochester and 60 miles north of Corning-- so southern tier (Steuben county)... we got tons of snow last night and it doesn't show signs of stopping anytime soon. It's actually getting more snowy out as the day goes on. Fun fun.. We ventured out a bit ago to make some Valentines deliveries.. But didn't stay out long-- every time we stopped we had to reclean off the car.. It's that snowy.

I am here in South Florida. You are going to hate me for saying this, but it is sunny, breezy and the temperature this afternoon is in the lower 80's. This is the reason I moved here from New York. I could not take the winters up north anymore. So I do sympathize with you.

Here in North Alabama we went from 60 degrees with thunderstorms and tornado watches yesterday to a high of 35 and some lite snow flurries this morning. Nothing like you guys are gettin in NY, but from one extreme to another in about 3 hours. From about 7pm to 10pm last night the temperature dropped about 30 degrees.

I am originally from NJ and they got blasted yesterday my mother said. Almost a blizzard there. I miss the snow too. But I moved south 3 months ago to Florida and since I got here it has been nothing but beautiful. Some chilly nights here and there, plus my apartment is near the gulf. But today, it is a lovely 78 degrees with some breeze. PERFECT!

I'm in central PA and we've got quite a bit out there now. It's been snowing since last night around 3 p.m. and it's still snowing now. It cycles back and forth between freezing rain and snow, and it's perfect for making snowmen because of how wet it is, but the last time I was outside with my dog, it came up to his chest as he was running through it and came up to my knee. That was around 11 this morning. Right now it's snowing and blowing and the flakes are huge. They've been that big for about an hour now, just steadily coming down.

Where I am we are getting "frozen rain." That's just a silly term that the weather people are using for very small hail. As it falls it's boucing off of everything and reminds me a lot of sand. As a result, I am almost alone in the office today. What a shame.

I'm in Milwaukee and it's been an icebox for the past 2 weeks. Today it is a high of 15 degrees, with overnight lows below zero. Last night we also had an inch of snow. Yeah, it's winter alright!

I live in the Pacific Northwest (Portland) and it's cloudy and not too cold, here. We had snow in mid-January but since then it's been more mild. I hope it rains today because for some reason, rain puts me in a good mood.

Hope you guys dig out, OK. Here in the Pacific Northwest, the weather has been fairly quiet. Our "big weather" happened as record rains in November (about 17" measured at airport), and a substantial early snowstorm for Thanksgiving. No sooner was the snow gone than hurricane force winds moved in and knocked down 1000s of trees onto power lines, leaving one million plus homes in the Seattle area without power, some for up to a week or more. Then the temps dipped back into the teens (which is really not very common around these parts) and it snowed again, along with a second severe storm that caused so much damage that several state and national recreation areas in the mountains will probably not reopen to the public until sometime in late summer. So we're happy to have some more "typical" quiet and gray days.

Hi there. I'm located in Fort Hood/Killeen, Texas. It is very cold here but compared to what is going on up north we are sitting pretty. Forecastfox (in my Firefox browser) reported that we were getting snowed on this morning but I never saw a drop. Currently it is 30 degrees and very windy, which of course makes it seem colder. I honestly wish we were getting snow. As far as I'm concerned if it's going to be cold it better snow...I really can't stand the cold. I'm from Florida. Cheers all and stay warm!
