Don't you hate it when you need to sew something and you cannot find the whole in the needle to thread your needle well here is a good tip that will help you with this it is neat and easy needle threading tip that all you have to do is Dip the tip of the needle in clear nail polish and let dry then you will find the hole with no problem at all it is because there is nothing there that you cannot find the hole in the needle, that we have so many problems with this. I think that once you have done this you shall have no problems at all give it a try if you have not already

When threading a needle, I also will place a white piece of paper behind the hole. It makes finding the hold and getting the thread through it alot easier.

I spray the end of the thread with hair spray and lick the eye of the needle. For some reason, licking the eye of the needle seems to draw the thread to the hole. Spraying the end of the thread keeps those annoying little wisps of thread from catching in the needle. Then once threaded, I just snip off the end of the thread that I sprayed with hair spray.

Thanks again kathy , I use one of those small wire things that go through the eye or lick the thread ( not very hygienic though ) lol . I am always on the lookout for hints and tips as you know xx

I usually fold the thread and it makes the end like a point and it goes right into the needle. But thanks your tip is great.

Thanks for the tip - it's so annoying when you can't thread the needle through and I've got great eyesight - I'll pass this on to my mother too as she's in her 70's now and know that she could use a tip like this - not sure if she has clear nail polish though lol!

yes i do hate it when i cannot find the hole in the needle to thread my needle i do not understand what clear nail polish will do to help with finding the hole in the needle i have never had all that much of a problem finding the hole in the needle i usually have trouble when it comes to threading the needle i like using a needle with a learger hole that you thread the string through i have found that they work just as good and are easier to use
