Heres another of those weird laws...In Newark, New Jersey U.S.A, it is illegal to sell ice cream after 6pm unless the customer has permission from there doctor!! Can you believe it!. Have you heard of this one? Do you or anyone you know live in Newark? Has this ever happened to you lol

Thats crazy. Lord, I cant imagine what that would possibly hurt. I couldn't live there if they enforced it. Ice cream is my one vice. :)

Well now I live in Scotland and I would say that is when everyone here does eat their Ice Cream , My first love in life(food wise) is ice cream , I would do without a lot of things before I could give that up , I would love to know how this law came about . please tell me if you do find out , xx

Maybe you could get permanant permission slip, or 'prescription' lol. Im not sure how it came about either but Im starting to wonder...lol. Thanks

I can't imagine the local grocery store really enforcing this law.
That is just plain stupid.
Why would people not be allowed to buy ice cream after 6 pm???
And what of the ice cream parlors? Do they all close up shop at 6pm?
Or Mickey D's...do they stop selling ice cream cones and milk shakes after 6pm?
That is just plain strange. LOL Most often when I crave ice cream, it is late at night anyways.

lol weird isnt it, and you'd have to get your 'icecream prescription' pretty early in the day just in case hehe. Thanks

I can not imagine a law like this. Who comes up with this stuff...lol. I would love to know the reason behind it. Im sure it would give us all a good laugh!

sorry i am not live in your area but this is sound funny,..what's wrong with the ice cream when the time pass 6 pm?...i never heard about this is my country...but sometimes in america they always have a reason to put the law on anything...the only thing here i can't see the reason for the law to be like that.

Its not actually my country ,I live in Australia lol. But yes i would say there is probably a reason behind it, maybe not a sane one though lol. Thanks
