many of our kababayan leaving the country for simple reason."to be able to have better life..". Why this is usual notion of our countrymen,as matter of fact we don't need to go out the country just to earn for living..considering those kababayan has been killed just for little amount of money..need to sacrifice with their love ones just to have about $200/month..danger is all over the places..all the time, every where..so pitty those kababayan working hard and then suddenly...has been kidnap, killed by employeer, being raped..,treat like an animal..slave...? on other hand, if i will not go out the country and to have work, why the government can offer for me, is there a better life here.....? I can yes, if WE help each other and think for the things can benifit our countrymen, be a good citizen and think not only for ourself..work hard, be honest at all time...for the leaders of country, they must start in the own self and family too..we have the nice place to live, natural resources can be use, technology...we need to use them wisely... professionals like nurses,engineers,artist,inventors..they living because of great ooportunity outside but they don't even see, oppotunties are here only than we need is CHANGE?... Work abroad or NOT?

i prefer to work abroad than here.the government has no project at all for the unemployed citizen of the country. Many are graduates but few are lucky enough to have quality job.even you work double or triple time, you still unable to reach the standard living of a normal filipino. imagine,a worker earns 300 pesos a day while he spent 250 for the expenses for a day, this includes food, transpo and miscellenous..it has been said that the average salary for a filipino is about 750 pesos a day in able to survive and attain good standard of living..300 pesos is far enough from 750 pesos right??so if i will have the chance to go abroad, definitely i will go for it than die here in hunger.

you are all right guys, but what i am trying to set here is that..working abroad is really good provided that you can sacrifice what good life here( the people, food & nature), the family and be able to face whats new life waitign for us abroad, culture & people..as we all know Filipinos are not treated well in our countries.. Now, another question, after earning and working abroad..what next?..Do these kababayan of us still willing to stay here?...and share thier blessings to our fellow pinoys..i think only few..instead of putting business and help fellow Filipino, they much prefer to migrate to other country..and those filipinos who are already successful in some countries, are they sharing their blessings to our less fortunate?..again, can count only in our fingers..sad to say, most who helping us are those foreigners who found the true beauty of our country. It's a challenge to each and everyone of us, what we can do now in our own little own way to build new nation..after we leave this motherland, is ther a covenant that we will go back and help in bringing up this country... What we don't have here is MONEY, we have all the sources to make MONEY but HOW?..let start with decipline to ourselves, family and then community..

with more and more students prefer to go abroad to study and work after graduate, many companies with tech needs are moving to attract talents.multinational companies are offering scholarship in exchang asking students to work in their home country. As main beneficiary,U.S is fighting back by loosening immigration restrictions. the competition between countries or companies is apparently the competition among talents.

Everyone wants to work abroad because realistically we are not paid enough in our own country. Filipinos are ambitious and only want the best for their families. We have age limits here, and a lot of college graduates can't even get a job. Our country is so corrupt, we're not getting the proper benefits. We can't blame those who want to work abroad. I myself want to be a nurse abroad because I want my kids to grow up with everything they need and our country is not a very safe place to live in anymore.

I will definitely work abroad if given the opportunity. It's really hard to find a good job here. You said all we need is change, but when will it happen? Perhaps when we are too old to even care if we have a job or not. It's easier said than done and it's really needs hard work.

Working abroad to be able to have a better life is a glowing reality especially if you come from the Philippines and I don't think doing such will make you less than your countrymen or will make you lose your sense of nationalism. So much have already been done to reform the Philippines but the change we have been dying to see is more and more becoming impossible. If one thinks it's high time for him to uproot himselfself inorder to bloom to its fullest, then there's nothing wrong in wanting to be planted in another seedbed.

... Honestly, Yes! Based on my experiences... I noticed that our fellow filipino citizens are planning to go there because while you work, you will receive a big salary from your company. So much for that, before you go there, you must be trained here in the Philippines if did not make it to straight forward to your new american friends in US, and neverthelss, you must be honest what your doing because if you do not make it for that, you will not be a successful person. Focus what you are doing to your life not just by yourself. Anyway, its a good start, you must have a companion to go there in order you to guide somewhere in other areas in USA. Good luck!
