First record/cd you bought

What was the first record you bought? Do you still have it? Mine was Can't Buy me Love by the Beatles, in the 60's. I was six years old. I do still have the record, some where in the attic...

The first record I bought was a 45 by Charlie Daniel's Band. The song was The Devil Went Down to Georgia. I could not tell you what was on the flip side but that was the song I wanted to buy. I think it cost me all of a quarter or fifty cents at the time. I know it was under a dollar but that's about all I could tell you. Boy have prices changed.

The first CD I bought was by Shai. It was their first album, I don't even remember the name of it. I had just gotten a CD player as a birthday gift from my parents and I used some birthday money to pay for the CD.

Mine was "Middle of Nowhere" by Hanson. Of course I still have it. I worship it. Hanson is my favorite band.

wow, great question. My first record was the LP "The Pleasure Principle" by Gary Numan. It was actually bought for mr for my 11th birthday and with the money I received as a gift I went out bought his previous album with the cash. I felt very grown up buying a record.
