Clue of Star rating of Avatar is totally hidden and it is in the hands or wisdom of mylot authority only. Can anybody challenge it? Can anybody calculate his star rating himself and get it matched with that of mylot authority? No.However there are certain assumed factors for star rating : (1)Number of discusions (2)Quality of discusion (3)Number of responses per discusion (4)Reaction of the discusion(5) Number of images posted (6) Number of friends (7) Number of referrals (8)Obeying the rules and regulations of mylot authority and so on.What do you think? Can you add any more idea?

I do not think that with the star rating of our Avatar that we can tell the rating of mylot what they think about the avatar, and nobody can work out his own star rating this is up to mylot authorities. It does have to do with our discussions and the amount of responses and all the work that we do on mylot per day. I think that you have covered everything here in regards to star ratings.

But in practice it is not exactly happening so. If above are the factors, its % effect on star rating is still a matter of discusion. It may be possible that some factor contribute only 1% whereas other factor contribute 90%.It is very importants for mylot members to exactly know the above.Mylot authority should be transparent in this case. What do u think?

The star rating is indeed, as you say, calculated by myLot and no one knows the algorithm used. We do, however, know a few things. I do NOT believe it is based on the avatar, or the number of discussions or the number of responses to the discussions, or the number of friends. MyLot calls this the myLot REPUTATION rating and at least infers it mostly relies of the myLot community. I believe the PRIME consideration is the number of "+" ratings and the number of "best responses" received. Of course, the number of "-" responses will affect this, and that fact has caused concern by some members, because disgruntled members have mis-used the "-" rating. Secondary things which affect the myLot reputation rating would be the QUALITY of responses made to the discussions and, as you stated, keeping to the myLot regulations. Other factors you mention will have a bearing on the points accrued and the money earned, but I do not believe they will affect the myLot reputation rating.

Yes you are right brijendra. The star rating is beyond our understanding. Mylot has chosen to keep it secret, uncomprehensible. The most we could is just keep guessing and experiment with the hope that we might get the formula and improve our star ratings. LOL.

I don't get it as well. When I reached a total of 100 posts I suddenly got a 7-star rating. No clue at all on how they come up with that.

Hi. There are so many theories here at mylot on how they figure out what to pay us for our work we do here. I don't have any pictures to upload or make alot of discussions right now and my earnings are still pretty good for posting replies and such. If my earnings do drastically change then I will have to adjust with it and try and figure out new ways to do it right here.
