So who all had Peter Pan peanut butter? We had a whole big jar of it that was practically brand new and I had to throw it away. Luckily none of us ate it. My DD is allergic to peanuts so she wouldn't have eaten any of it anyway. I looked at the store for Jiff and the shelf was EMPTY, so I think a lot of people had Peter Pan.

I had a big jar of the honey roasted kind. Luckily I had only made one sandwich for my husbands lunch box but luckily he went out to eat that day & I had thrown it away. Whew! After looking up the story from my local news, I found out you could get your money back. The news site showed you had to mail the lid back to Con-Agra but I made a call to the Randall's across the street & they said just bring the lid or the whole container in for an immediate refund. They did say they had already done many, many refunds and it was only the day after it was released on the news.

I already threw mine in the trash and the trashman has already came today, so mine is gone and cannot get a refund. That's ok LOL.

I had some. The horrible thing is that I made goodies for Christmas with that peanut butter. I can't remember if anyone got sick though. I hate that! I haven't tried to take it back yet but I intend to. It wasn't that expensive but every dollar helps! I don't think I got sick and I ate some of it. Who knows! It's scary what you eat now days. It seems like there is something each week that has been tainted with salmonella!

Oh no, glad to hear you didn't get sick. I didn't take mine back, just trashed it. I know, it is scary to buy foods anymore.

We usually buy Peter Pan and my husband had eaten from the 'recalled' jar only once, luckily he is fine. As soon as I saw it on the news I went to check my pantry and there it was the..2111 batch. I immediately trashed it. It's so scary, food is no longer safe..first the spinach e coli, now this..sigh!

Yep as soon as I seen it on the news, I checked our jar and we had the 2111 too. Glad to hear he didn't get sick from eating it. I know, I don't like grocery shopping anymore due to the e coli. I don't buy spinach or salad anymore.
