Do you think MySpace should pay members?

I bet myspace is making so much money off of advertisers. They do offer a free service but may they should think about paying their members like myLot. What do you think?

No way, they would lose so much money doing that. There are so many people who do myspace already that they won't gain any money(in fact they'll lose)if they start paying the members. The gain of members that they do get because of people wanting to get paid off of it would not make myspace richer.

Why would myspace pay members? Isn't just a place to post pictures, meet old friends and learn about other people.

There is no reason for Myspace to do that. The millions of people on myspace would make it so that myspace actually will lose money if they started to pay members for being on there. Even though they would gain members in the process it wouldn't be anything compared to what they get if they started paying the people for being on there site.

It's a great idea but with as many members that they have already I don't think it will ever become an option.

why should they? if you had a money making site and you had to pay for hosting and maintenance fees and a whole company to keep your site running would you give out money to people already using your free services? its a business.

as far myspace is concerned they do not pay their members but i think we should not compare both of them they both are just different...

MySpace doesn't need to pay members since they have so much traffic and sooooo many sponsers. Whether they SHOULD pay members or not is a non-issue since they never will.
