More Ovaltine, Please!

Oh my goodness, are there still commericals for Ovaltine around? I didn't even know that Ovaltine was still being made, lol! I used to drink it like crazy when I was younger! It really does taste soo good! I would recommend it to anyone, and I would love to have some again now but wouldn't be able to because of the sugar content, since I have to be very very careful about how much sugar intake I have. But I *loved* Ovaltine, as a kid, and I'm elated to hear that it still exists! ^_^

My Father drinks Ovaltine. I have never developed a liking for it. Chocolate and malt is normally not my thing. I too remember the commercials and they were better than some of the commercials now. I might see if I can get a jar and see if my kids like it. Though now my daughter says Yuck, I hate that stuff. She thought is tastes like something like dirt. Oh my, not sure what I will do now. Will be interesting to see what others have to say.

I liked Ovaltine when I was younger, do not care for it now, but my great neice does. Flavor is not intense enough. Oh, well, I like plain milk,anyway.

Ovaltine is great, though I havn't had it for years. Almost as good as Horlicks but not quite. It is really just a flavouring for hot milk which some people find unappatising. Just the drink to send you off to bed.

I used to drink ovaltine as a kid but didn't like the fact it didn't dissolve in cold milk. Milo doesn't either but I like its taste better.

I drank it years ago. It had a kind of malt taste to it. Kind of like a chocolate Malted Milk. It was long long long ago. I kind of think we had that warm but so long ago dont remember. I will have to get some again and try t=it. A blast from the past.

Ovaltine was Ralphie's favorite drink. I loved Ovaltine. I remember when my mother bought it, the Nestle's Quik went to the back of the shelf. It is a malted chocolate flavor. Nummy stuff. I had a glass a couple of months ago when visiting a friend. If I had Ovaltine in my house I would drink milk more often.

I drank it years ago and yes it tasted like malted milk chocolate. It had a great taste back then, but I haven;t tried it in many many years.

Beside coffee and tea, holick, milo and ovaltine are quite revalent in my country. I think ovaltine not really taste like chocolate milk or milo. It's difficult to describe the taste of it unless you taste it yourself. Most of the time I drink milo. My father like to take hot milo with an egg stirred in it

We dont like it. I think it taste like it is loaded with vitimans and not pure chocolate. I hate those commercials. I wonder why anyone would drink that icky stuff.

Ovaltine is great and much healthier than chocolate milk. My now 16 year old daughter drank it constantly when she was younger. It really is good although it took a few days for me to develop a taste for it but once I did, it was no problem. Answering Shywolfs questions yes it's still around and there are commercials going to. :)

WHEN i was a kid in England mom always fixed us ovaltine i loved it but hadnt thought about it till I read your posting .brings back good memories!i dont even know if I can get it here in the US but reat assured im going to look!
