Is anyone here vego simply because they feel it's healthier? I know some people who don't have a problem with the thics of eating meat, but who follow a vegetarian diet because they believe they feel more healthy when they aren't eating meat.
This is a very touchy issue because some people think that humans need meat in their diet to live healthily and others think that eating meat is actually not that good for you.
What are your opinions?

I think that it is perfectly healthy to live without eating any meat or animal products.
I am a vegan, and although I don't do it for health reasons I think it is a great side effect of this diet. It means I won't get overweight and be at a much lower risk from heart attacks, diabeties and cancer.

I used to eat goat meat, fish, chickens, prawn etc, though i know well that our body system , the teeth, nails, intestine etc are not designed for this
Gradually i minimised it and go for more vegges lol
Thanks for sharing
Cheers.
God bless you, have a nice day ahead.

When the matter is related to the religious beliefs,
no option is left for contradictions.
If you are nurtured in a vegetarian culture,
it's difficult to change the habit when you grow.
The food likings are normally set in an early childhood.
Very few can change their food habits in adult age.
We vegetarians are actually thankful to all these
non-veg people as they save some food for us,
otherwise there would be a great scarcity of veg food.
