i'd say a lot of people misuse the word love to represent a lot of words. lust.fondness.affection. etc etc. it is so overused that the magic of love somehow has faded overtime... overused. lust is another thing all together...

There's a big difference between love and lust. If you are with a man/woman because you think they are good looking, it's lust. If you would still be with them even when they are old and gray, then it's love.

They are most definetly different... this is coming from someone who recently learned the difference. Love is about caring for someone more than you can express and wanting the best for them, admiration in a sense. Lust is more sexually charged and is more about your desire to be near someone. Just like loving someone and being in love with someone are different.

Lust is a want, you want somebody it doesn't mean you need them. Lust can be a strong basis for love however, love is forever, someone you can't imagine your day without.

I beleive that Love and Lust are 2 totally different things but there is a fine line between the two. Loveing someone is being there for them thinking about them all the time and wanting to spend time with them. Wanting to marry them and have a family and all that good stuff. Lusting over someone is mor or less just wanting to sleep with them and being obsessed with the way they look, with out even knowing their personality..

I think it's different.. lust you can get from just seeing a girl walk by, but not love.. well, love at first sight perhaps? :P

No they are two totally different things. With lust you just want to knock off a piece with love you are willing to go the distance to please your mate.

No love if a caring tender feeling you have for someone and always will have for someone... Where as Lust is a feeling you don't have with your heart and mind, you have with other functions of your self as you are in "love" with the atractive Features of a person, and not the person them self.
