Who is more Generous? Man or Woman?

I think women are more generous. We mostly are the caregivers in the family. It just comes naturally to us. We are the ones that take care of everyone, we worry about everyone. We do the Christmas, birthday, grocery shopping. We are the ones that usually do our husbands clothes shopping, etc.

I don't think we can answer that 100% right. But, I would say that men are more generous with their money and time. I asked my hubby, and he said the same thing. I know in our home, we both are, but he is more so I think.

I think it depends really...I know some women such as myself and a few others I know who are very generous materially but also spiritually, mentally and emotionally..and I know many men such as my husband and my brother for example who are also like that.....but I also know some very shallow, greedy, couldnt care less about anyone but themselves men and women as well...So in my experiences its not a matter of gender, its a matter of ppl ya know...

I say the woman because women generally have a softer heart than the men. I have met a lot of guys who are generous too but generally speaking I think there are more women who are more generous than the men. The women are more compassionate and has empathy I guess.

Well!I too agree with you!You call your nation "mother land" not "father land" why?You call your tongue "mother tongue" not "father tongue" why?Well I feel the reason behind this is the sacrificial nature of a mother who is a woman!Right from giving space for a life in her woumb to the upbringing of an individual there is no one who can beat the generosity of a woman!Correct me if Iam wrong!

I'd say man is more generous because we let you take over the world and get the better deal in terms of career options and potential earning power, so we are the generous gods!!!!

IT depends on what you are taking as an index. If the quantity is counted more than its quality, then we can say men are more generous than women. But If we count quality and the feeling that is put in the generosity, then yes, women are more generous in that way. Men only do generosity as a duty, or as to follow a norm. Most of the time they do not have the compassion to help the other person. But women truly want to help and feels the compassion of the other person and would like give help voluntarily.

As a woman, I think I am very generous but I have limits. I have been used way to many times so I kind of slack off or hold back sometimes. I think it is very good for a person to be willing to help others if the other person is willing to help back in return. My husband is very generous also for a man. He will do anything in the world for anyone. I never have to ask him for a thing. he is always there for me. there isn't too many people left in the world who are that willing to help another person out. I think it is a wonderful thing.
