Alot of times people just throw together a sandwich or grab some fast food. How many meals do you actually prepare and cook a week? Usually my meals are thrown together, but all my dinners I spend time cooking. I eat out twice a week, usually just Subway or Applebees(weight watchers menu)

I cook 7 nights a week. And bake at least 6 times a week. I live in the country on a farm in Australia and there arent any takeaway shops where I am and I prefer to have a meal. Even when Im not in the mood I still make a proper meal for my son.

I like the dedication, I bet you make some of the best home cooked meals living on a farm. I would love to come to your home and try one of your dishes!

Cooking and baking is like a hobby to me, I enjoy making things and then eating them. Im forever being asked for this recipe or that, sometimes its hard to give out a secret recipe, Im sure everyone has a few of those. When I visit my brother we always fight over who's going to make dinner, we both think each others cooking is better, he's the chef and Im just well trained and practiced. Practice sure does make perfect, but I have to admit, when I lived in the city for a few years I did take advantage of a few baking course's run by local colleges. The best course I did was a Bread Making course, I learnt to make homemade bread correctly from a Baker, I must have learnt something as he asked me to work for him, I did and picked up alot more baking skills. Sometimes its hard to make things on the farm, as you cant just pop down to the shops. Shopping is a nightmare, you have to bulk buy and go down each aisle 2 or 3 times to make sure you havent forgotten anything. And as its in the country, the shops (well 2 x co-op's) are so small and cater to so few people, you just cant get everyday items. I tried to be lazy last week and buy an instant pudding mix, neither of the two shops stocked it grr.... Your welcome to dinner any time :o)

I cook everyday 6 days a week. My husband doesn't come home for lunch and so we eat dinner together. I make sure we have a hot meal atleast once a day and that's dinner.

I usually cook something one night and eat it most of the week, since I live alone and I have all these leftovers.

Myself personally? Ooo. None =) This is most of time because i either eat out, grab a snack or take away. most of the time my lovely caring wife does the cooking + prepairs the food. Although i do it sometimes. Like i'll do her meals =) ~Joey P.s this isn't because i'm lazy, but because i look after my mother and normally i'm tired from working. =) (she's the best)

I cook dinners 5-6 days a week. It's cheaper and makes me eat healthier to prepare meals at home. I usually eat sandwiches or salads for lunch during the week and that's not really cooking (to me, at least). I tend to go out on the weekends if any but home-cooked meals give me all the veggies and protein I should be eating.

I've never been a fan of leftovers. I have this weird thing about bacteria and food getting old. I don't even drink tap water I need to filtrate it with Brita or I feel like it tastes bad. It's really bizzarre, I have no idea. But my boyfriend loves leftovers!!!!

I find that some times I'm just way too lazy to make anything for myself to eat. Sometimes I eat one meal for the whole day and thats it asides from some drinks in between, but I do cook for my family when I have to. I just don't have a very good appetite. The meals cooked in the house add up to about 19 meals a week. 3 every week day and two on the weekend since everyone pretty much forgets about lunch.
