stigmata is the condition where a person has inexplainable wounds on his feet, hands/wrists, side, or in other words like those wounds of jesus christ when he died on the cross. some believe this condition to be something divine or holy, and the person who bears these wounds are supposed to be holy and inhabited by the powers of jesus. for years, it has been a debate between science and church as each tries to explain this condition. what about you? what is your opinion regarding stigmata? do you believe it to be something divine or holy?

I think that genuine stigmate like the ones Fr. Pio had were really miraculous. It is really true that there are chosen people to whom Christ will share his sufferings too and there are individuals who even pray to accept them. Sta. Rita de Cascia and St. Francis of Assisi also endured those kind of wounds.
