This is what i observed on mylot recently. If you post a new discussion the number of discussions dosent increase by one till someone answers your discussion. No matter how many discussions you post your number will not increase till someone answers them. Did you find the same or is the problem only with me?

Yeah I have noticed that also. It won't change until someone answers them. It will stay at zero until then. It can only change when there is an actual response for it. I think there is still a slight delay in the numbers being updated when a response is made to them also.

i'm still trying to figure out this whole forum. i don't understand what number you are taling about. is it the number next to your name? i think that's the number of comments you have made. then what are the numbers in the stars some people have, and how do i see my own.

Is there a number for the number of discussions you've posted? Where?? If you are talking about the number in bracket next to your username, I thought that's the number of responses you've made. So technically, a discussion is not a response. :P Or am I wrong in this?

The number in the bracket is the sum total of the number of responses and the discussions you started.
