what keeps us together despite of our individuality?

we are unique and born in different races, countries and traditions, but we human beings tend to serve one main goal, and no matter what we differentiate our selves we all have been driving a life in this world together.. why do you think so..

we have a need for companionship and regardless of where we are we seek it. No one can survive solely on their own.
