ok is this a trick question? lol. Yes, I do get really upset. It is didfficult to walk away and not say something. You can just imagine the problems that lie ahead for the unborn child. Some people should not be parents

I do. There are so many women in this world you want kids but can't have them, its disgusting to see a woman who can mistreating her child in this way.

Yes, I do. As a mother myself, I am aware of the potential harm to the baby and yourself when you drink or smoke especially during pregnancy. I feel sadden by the fact that they continue to do so even when they know it harms the unborn baby. I do not drink nor smoke, so I do not know what ppl get out of it or why they find it hard to kick the habit. But for the sake of the baby? Why not at least try? It's probably not my place to judge but I am put off when I see pregnant mothers drink or smoke or when their partners smoke when they are around as a matter of fact. Second hand smoking is not good either.

Yes I do. It makes me feel really sad and upset that they are doing something that can potentially harm a baby who has no choice in the matter.

Yes I do..Currently with me being pregnant I just don't understand why you can't stop smoking and/or drinking. I never started smoking so that is not a concern and yes I drank before I got pregnant but the day I found out I stopped. Isn't that what you are supposed to do..The 1st trimster is the most vital why ruin that?

Yeah, it really bothers me (particularly the smoking). I guess if they can't see the damage that they are doind to themselves then how can they be expected to understand the effects it has on an unborn child.

Yes, I personally get very upset, however I would never say anything to her about it. Sure, I think it may harm the baby, but it's not my place to tell someone how they should treat their bodies or their unborn baby. Some times, I may give a look, as if to say, you know you shouldn't be doing that...but I would never say it out loud.

yes I do, but I would reframe from telling her about the harm that could happen to her unborn child. But if its my daugher or close friend I would say something about it.

To be honest i've given up caring about the stupid things people do. It's such a shame in a case like this that it's not jsut the person doing it that will be harmed, but a little life that cannot voice it's own oppinion on whether it wants to be subjected to this harm. So yes, on that basis it does upset me.

Absolutely! Not only are smoking and drinking DISGUSTING habits, but to do it while you're carrying a child inside of you?! I also hate it when I see parents smoking while in the presence of their children...I mean COME ON! I just want to go up the them and smack them across the face!

Well of course I get upset and I would probably say something to the mother. I don't care if people want to harm themselves but when they harm helpless babies, children or even other adults, it's selfish! I don't deal well with selfish people!

Yes! This is something that bothers me very much. The poor unborn child has no say in what is going into their body, and drinking and smoking do nothing but harm the child. I think it is very selfish for women to do this.

yes! whenever I see someone who do something that can hurt his or her child I get upset. I think that the parents most be more responsible when it comes to their children health. A pregnant woman who drinks or smokes hurt her child andI think that it is wrong!

I get upset seeing anyone smoke, let alone a pregnant woman. When I was a kid, my friend's mother was pregnant and she smoked. I don't remember much, but I do remember the baby was born premature and seeing a tube (I believe it was an oxygen tube), and the baby had asthma. I don't doubt the baby had other problems, but I never asked my friend about it. It made me sick to my stomach seeing that baby like that. Smoking and drinking while pregnant should be illegal. It is a form of abuse to an innocent being even if some people don't think it is.

Yes, I do. I don't think that it is fair to the unborn child who is reaping the consequences and has no say. I think that each pregnant woman has the responsibility to keep her body pure for her baby.

Personally, i don't get upset although i pity the unborn child- its a matter of choice for the mom, I was smoking before i knew i was pregnant because at that time I didnt know that i was really pregnant, immediately soon after i positively confirmed that i was pregnant- i stopped smoking. There must be reasons why the pregnant mom smokes-she's probably depressed too or stressed out or a lot of things are in her mind, I know its kinda selfish not thinking that there is a life inside of you growing yet your doing stuffs to hurt it, but sometimes, when your really depressed- you really dont think that rational anymore...

Yes, imo, this is child abuse. But, that's just my opinion.
