I know it's not really Japanese, but I really like Serial Experiments Lain's opening theme "Duvet" by Boa. It's really pretty, made by a British rock group.Even my friends who never watch anime thought that it was a great song.

My favourite Animated Song is Crazy Frog Axel... I just love the music and the sweet voice of Crazy Frog... Ding-Ding!!!!! Just awsome... it really a humorous song.. I love that very much...

umm.. as of now, i really love the song "Itooshii hito no tame ni" from Curious Play or Fushigi Yuugi .. This song made me cry .. i just don't know why ?! o .. i can't paste in the lyrics because i dont have 500+ ratings .. how sad .. well, i must say this is really a good song.

I would choose the "Tomorrow" from the anime series Full Metal Panic. This is really cool, the singer's voice is really cute plus the good composition of music. Its kinda rock but still keeps the pop genre, I guess. Kurenahai is also good, sweet melody and very relaxing sound. This music is also from Full Metal Panic.
