Do you know my Jesus? Many know ABOUT Jesus, but do you KNOW Him?

Jesus is my King!
My King is a sovereign king.
No means of measure can define His limitless love.
He is enduringly strong; He is entirely sincere;
He is eternally steadfast; He is impartially merciful.
He is immortally graceful; He is imperially powerful;
Jesus is the greatest phenomenon
who ever crossed the horizon of this world.
Jesus is God's Son; He is the sinner's Saviour.
He is the centrepiece of civilisation.
He is august and unique;
He is unparalleled; He is unprecedented.
He is the loftiest idea in literature;
The highest personality in philosophy;
The supreme problem in higher criticism.
He is the miracle of the ages.
He is the superlative of everything good,
And the ONLY One qualified to be an all-sufficient Saviour.
Jesus supplies strength for the weak.
He strengthens; He sustains; He guards and He guides.
He heals the sick; He cures lepers;
He forgives sinners; He discharges debtors.
He delivers the captives; He defends the feeble;
He blesses the young; He serves the unfortunate;
He regards the diligent; He beautifies the meagre.
Well, my Jesus, He is King.
He is the key to knowledge; the well-spring of wisdom.
He's the doorway to deliverance; the pathway of peace.
He's the gateway to glory.
His office is manifold.
His promise is secure; His light is matchless.
His goodness is limitless; His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His Word is enough. His grace is sufficient.
His yoke is easy. His burden is light.
Pilate couldn't find fault in Him.
Death couldn't contain Him.
The grave couldn't hold Him.
Oh, how I wish I could describe Him to you!
He is indescribable!
Jesus is incomprehensible; He is irresistible.
You can't get Him out of your mind.
You can't outlive Him, and you can't live without Him.
Yes. Jesus is my King.
Do you know my Jesus? He is everything to me! It is not enough to know ABOUT Him. Do you know the REALITY of a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with Him? Do you know the joys of a DAILY WALK with Him? Do you know His constant presence?
Jesus makes life worth living!

The Son of God became the Son of Man so that we who are sons of men can become sons of God through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He who has the Son has life and he who does not have the Son has not life. And this is the condemnation that Light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.

I spent over half of my life knowing the "story" of Jesus, but loving darkness ... and in the darkness time of my life The Light came in and called me out of darkness. Praise be to God for having grace and mercy on one such as I!

Then Colossians 1:13 would have as much meaning for you as it does for me. It describes my experience so perfectly.

Yes I can say I do know Jesus and I am honoured to say I am a strong believer of our Lord, and you are right cloudwatcher, it is really worth knowing and loving Jesus he is my saviour and I love him and through him I receive love for me and my family and friends. I pray to him every day and thank him for what he gives me and my family and friends and I do not use him or expect him to answer me straight away but he has been there so many times for us all that it is countless times, so I thank him that I know my Lord Jesus.

I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene
And wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned, unclean.
How marvellous! How wonderful! Is my Saviour's love to me!
Thank you Kathy for your testimony.
Indeed He is wonderful!

"I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine..."
Song of Songs 6:3a.
Ah, yes, I know Him indeed and He knows me and loves me despite my shortcomings.
Thanks for the boldness to share with others the love of Christ!

I completely agree with you and look forward to the day that we will meet face to face ... whether on earth or in our Father's house!

I know you agree with me that being loved by the Almighty, omnipotent Father God is the greatest privilege and blessing this life can possibly offer.
Our God is an awesome God!

Well, I won't have time to look for you in the clouds, but maybe we will be there together. If not, we will meet one day and I look forward to it. God bless you.

Hi Cloudwatcher. I'm getting to know Jesus. I'm still on that path. It's hard for me. I think my mind is too logical but I'm getting there. I have so many questions, when most people just say I need to just have FAITH.

Anakata, keep asking questions - but be careful about who gives you answers. The Bible warns about false teachers. Don't take my word for anything. Don't take anyone else's word for everything. Check it out in the Word and ask God to reveal things to you. He will.
