I thought I was going to really like this show. The chemistry between Shark and his assistants is great. The cases are good. Well, mostly good. Some are just okay. But I was really disappointed when they killed off the Martin character. And now I'm SO tired of the daughter. How long has this show been on? Three months? And she's been in major trouble three times already? First she plagiarized a paper for school. Then when her father told her not to discuss a case, not only did she disobey, but she wrote about her disagreement with him in her school newspaper and the wire services picked it up. Now she's arrested for drunk driving. Enough. I wanted a lawyer show, not a juvenile delinquent show. I'm not watching it anymore. I Tivo'd Thursday's episode and deleted it unseen. What do you think? Is Shark already boring?

I really liked Martin and was really shocked when they killed him off. The actor was great on the show and I felt there were plenty of story lines available for his part, but for some reason CBS just didn't want to explore them. When the show started I loved it and felt here was a show that I wanted to tell all my friends to turn on their television sets to see Shark and his assistants in court, but now CBS is suddenly concerned about their 18 to 49 year old viewers and the large number of them aren't watching, so the story lines are being changed to try getting young people to watch.

I couldn't find anything online about why Alexis Cruz left the show. Was it his idea or theirs? (I had seen him on Stargate first. What a cutie.) And the daughter's story just bores me. I'm not in that demographic anymore, so I guess they don't care what I think.

OH I so agree! I love James Woods and think he's got mega talent. This brat daughter thing is getting old. I want to hear the great cases and see more interaction between James woods and his assistant! Could it be??? hmmmmmmmm? :) I think maybe we could write a complaint email to CBS voicing our concerns. Can't hurt right? I am sure we are not the only ones that feel this way.

I'm going to do that today. Have you done it yet? Maybe if they get a couple of them, they'll at least know how we feel.

Yes, daddy's girl is getting very old, they just need to leave her out of the show totally, like they did mom. Have you tried watching The Shield, there is some real cop work in the real world.

but then we couldn't expect perfect daughters in the world. i think that such juvenile delinguency is a fact that is happening almost everywhere and a reality that sometimes no matter how the parents tried so hard to teach their children and to give them quality time as much as they can things like that still happens especially during their adolescense

True, but I didn't want to see it on this show. I expected a show about lawyers, not teenagers. I don't know if they took the show in the other direction or not because I stopped watching it way back when.
