Oh, do I!!! SHare your recipes! Here's my favorite. Vegans can leave out the meat. Sweet and Spicy Stir Fry with Chicken and Broccoli for 2 INGREDIENTS: 1-1/2 cups broccoli florets 1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil 1 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch strips 2 tablespoons sliced green onions 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced 1-1/2 teaspoons hoisin sauce 1-1/2 teaspoons chile paste 1-1/2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced 1 tablespoon chicken stock DIRECTIONS: Place broccoli in a steamer over 1 inch of boiling water, and cover. Cook until tender but still firm, about 5 minutes. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and saute the chicken, green onions, and garlic until the chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. Stir the hoisin sauce, chile paste, and soy sauce into the skillet. Season with ginger, red pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the chicken stock and simmer about 2 minutes. Mix in the steamed broccoli until coated with the sauce mixture.

Stir fry is the way I use up the left over vegetables in my refrigerator. It's a quick and easy meal to prepare and is so tasty as well. My recipe is similar to yours but I add in a few splashes of sesame oil and oyster sauce in place of your hoisin sauce. I sometimes use cornstarch and a bit of chicken stock to thicken the gravy as well.

I like to wok up veggies with shrimp. I will use broccoli florets, red peppers sliced, sliced onion, garlic sliced and sprouts. Stir fry in a little ses. oil, with hoisin suuse and ginger. Then add the shrimp. Make brown fried rice on the side.

Ohh..I simply adore stir fry! This is a lovely recipe and I will try it soon. I will probably leave out the chicken since I don't cook chicken at home. I like any stir fry and often crave for it when I watch it being made on tv..lol!I recently bought all the veggies I need for a stir fry, only thing I have to do is make it. Will try this.

We love stir fries. When our kids were little, they would ask for stirfry often. We always let them help prepare it becasue it is so easy to make. They still love it today. We are always inventing new ways to make it.

Thank You Bee for starting this discusssion.I love stir-fry.I used to not like it when I was little and would slip bites to my dog and my mom would think I ate it.LOL.I only ate the meat. But I told her eventually and we had a good laugh.I like it now and I am glad my husband doese too.I only hope my kids will eat it.LOL.I Like it made different ways whether with shrimp, chicken, beefect.I dont have any recipes off hand as I will use this to try on here on this discussion.I have cook books that have them though just never tried too.I usually by the bags to mix in with the sauce and beef so I guess its kind of already prepared.
