Private Messaging not working?

Is anyone else having trouble with Private Messaging? Mine hasn't been working all morning. I have tried off and on a number of times. Once, I have written the message, I click "send mesage", and I end up with a blank page. It just won't load.

You need to provide more info so we can help you. Which messenger are you using and which operating system do you use?

I just tried it and it seems to be working as my message went through to my friend and did not receive any error messages at all or delays.

This is what I discovered. A friend from My Lot has been PM me, and I have been responding fine. However, when I included an URL, My Lot wouldn't allow my PM to be sent properly. I had a couple of people request from me, my banner URL for My LOt, and I have been trying to send it through PM. When I send a normal message, it goes. When I include the banner URL, it won't send. So it looks like MY lot don't allow URLS (in html code) to be sent. What a nuisance.

i have no problem with private messaging today. i suggest you refresh the page. if it it wont work, try logging out, then sign in again and see if things will be back to normal.

I have not tried to send anyone a private message today so I could not say if there is something wrong or not. I know here they do updates on the system in the mornings so maybe that was causing it. I will try it and see if it works here or not.

When I had this problem it turned out to be me, but in this case, you are doing everything right. I will message you right now, you send one back. I will let you know if it arrives. That is what my friends did for me.

Yep, me too. I had responded to a message from a day or so ago. The glitch makes it so when it finally works I email back anyone that has contacted me. It is maddening since I had some information for one of my other friends. It is maddening since it is a consistent on and off problem that this site has. With patience you too can get all your messages done during the moments that it works properly. Good luck!!
