Spell checking

It looks like myLot has added spell check of some kind, or is it just me, or firefox? I am getting words underlined in red when they are misspelled. I have not checked out any other features. What do you think. Is it happening to your posts as well?

True, I noticed this one..the underlined words in red if you misspell them..but I noticed this happening only if am using Firefox...there was one time i used Internet Explorer and I was a litle upset coz they didn't have this feature..for me it's really helpful since you can spot those words you accidentally misspelled right away with those red underlines and that could really save you time.

No, I didn't get a spell check. I deliberately mispelt the word spelling, also in the tag as well, and nothing happened.
It just went through as usual. I am using firefox too.

It surely is the firefox, and I remember that someone else said this in a discussion, I just forgot. I may start using firefox all of the time, as it has several features that I like. Thanks for the input

It is not happening to me at all. Maybe it is your system, lucky you. I hate when I send something off, and then it is too late to fix the error.

I have not noticed it. I wish they would. I have added several discussions tonight but have not noticed this feature on any of them and I know there are misspelled words. I need spell check desparately. LOL

Well, the verdict is in, it is firefox, not myLot. I am still hearing wistful voices about it though

I hadn't noticed that. Maybe it's your Firefox, as I'm typing this I was intentionally making spelling boo-boos and it didn't come up with any spell check underlines at all. (So I re-typed it, lol) I'm using IE7 and don't have FireFox. No, at least I'm not getting spell check, although I wish I would.

I use Opera as my main browser (but have firefox and IE7 as well for sites that don't use Opera), and don't see a spell checker here. One reason I use Opera (and valid for Firefox as well) is that user names and passwords can be stored and used without having to remember them. I use many different user names and passwords - too many for my limited memory. I've just looked at Firefox as well, and Spell checker doesn't seem to work on it, probably needs to be switched on.

I have not noticed this yet. But if we can get the option like we can do in MS Word, it will be a very good option. And also I despeartely need the edit option.

I was going to tell you it's the firefox too..lol I'm on firefox once in while and I love that feature. I wish mylot could add something like that so we could edit as we go, an see our errors right away.... Maybe soon, you never know what the next update will bring.

No ma'am nothing here by me and I am using MYie so it must be on your side. Are you using firefox? if so it must be the firefox spell checker, there should be a facility where you can disable, the spell checker, CORRECT as you type. Don't disable spell checker just the facility, it will still check your spelling, just not while you are typing. Hope it helps
