I have to share this moment. I'm sitting here on the computer and I hear Corona (the chihuahua) yipping and see her literally running circles around our big black lab who's laying on the floor. She nips at his feet, yips at him and runs. He playfully barks at her and nips back, making sure not to hurt her. It's so hilarious and so fun to watch these two develop into friends. I wondered how long it would take! At first he was afraid of her because she was so little. He seems to have realized she might be small... but she can handle her own! LOL

Most dogs can get along especially if you introduce a puppy to an older dog.

I love to see our animals interact with each other. One day our old female cat saw the dog finishing up some cat food in one of the special stainless steel dishes we have for the cats. They aren't really special but no one uses them for anyone else. Boldly, she walked up to him, face to face, she yowled and hissed and put her paw in the dish right in front of his nose and pulled it away from him. That is a cat dish, you silly dog!!

Reminds me of some dogs my friend used to have, she had two Toy Manchester Terriers and a Lab. Those little dogs would terrorize the Lab. They would grab onto his upper lip or private parts and hang on for dear life!
My two younger dogs, Martha and Twix, like to tear up the place, chasing each other around the house at full speed. Usually in the evening when we are trying to watch TV! Sometimes Esther gets in on it, too, but not too often.
