Help !!! My Computer screen blinks !!!!?

The problem is my monitor screen blinks, it goes off (totally blank) for about 1 sec. or so and comes back automatically, this disturbs a lot. There is no periodicity in this, sometimes very frequent. The pc is attached with UPS, so no voltage fluctuations are possible. What could be the reason and the possible solutions ???? P.S. The Monitor is LG Studioworks 450N Please Help !! Serious Answers Please !!!!
