Do you believe that Sunday should be a day of rest or do you work and do other things on Sundays?

I think Sundays are viewed as a religious day...which if one takes into consideration those who are not religious or christian then there is some issues to be addressed... I believe Sunday should eb a day just like any other and I should be able to buy booze until anytime I want!!

Oh yes I do believe Sunday should be a day of rest. In the past I always had to work on Sunday, so I couldn't rest. Now I work m-f only so I do all my weekly chores on Saturday and am very busy on that day. By the time Sunday gets here I am so tired I am ready for a break. I lay around on Sunday and only do fun stuff for me. It gives me that break before going back to work on Monday.

yes i think it should be a day of rest, But alot of times we don't because we don't have enough to finish what we have to do during the week.. But there are also things we can do like travel and still rest..

For me a Sunday is just like any other day of the week, I'm not at all religious and so Sunday is no special. When I used to work shifts I always worked Sundays because of the extra pay and because I much preferred to have a day off in the week instead when you could go out and the shops were next to empty and it divides the week up better. Now I'm currently not working, Sunday is no different. I don't go to the gym on a Sunday because unfortunately the gym only opens half day and I'm usually in bed most of Sunday morning! I do extra housework on a Sunday. But with shops opening now on a Sunday, Sunday's aren't that special.

Sundays are to be set aside as a day of rest and relaxation. That doesn't mean that you have to sleep all day or sit on the coach and do nothing. God created the day for us to rejuvenate ourselves and to praise and worship him. If shopping relaxes you - do it. If playing golf relaxes you - do that. What ever it may be - as long as it gives you pleasure it is ok to do.

For me Sundays are a little bit of both.. I will sometimes sleep in & then sometimes my other half will make me breakfast in bed, or I will do the same for him. It seems it's the only time we are able to actually eat breakfast together. Then after all of that.. After I have woken up & am able to function.. I will then clean around the house or in our bedroom. And then I will bake something new with my other half & then make supper later on in the evening. We usually try to do last minute things to get ready for the new week a head of us. I like to be organized in advance personally. I've always been this way! . . I as well like to spend as much time with my other half as much as I possibly can. So the whole day is usually us doing things together as a couple so that we had spent a lot of quality time together on that one day. Sundays is that day of the week for me in which I like to rest, & just embrace life! Sometimes I will take the day to just relax in general. By sleeping in & spending the day in our bedroom watching old movies together. And then cooking a late dinner together. But then if I only do this I begin to feel like I hadn't accomplished anything.. So I will end up having to do some form of cleaning during that day.. I think Sunday's should be a mix between both resting, but also trying to do other things around the house & so forth.. I find Sunday's will always remain being the day where you are able to spend time with the people whom you love.. As there is nothing better then being able to do that in my humble opinion! . .

I usually take sundays as mostly a day of rest but sometimes I need to do some housechores as well and sometimes I go to church. I enjoy watching football most of the day on sunday.

I think one should do whatever they feel like doing on Sundays. --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

I try to reserve Sundays for rest and worship, but sometimes they just are more frazzled than anything. I try to do too much. This is a goal for me, to do something different on Sunday than I do any other day. I am more refreshed to go back to work then. I need time to think, breathe, listen to God. (Yeah, I know, He speaks other days too)
