The problem with "friends with benefits"

A lot of people these days seem cool with this idea, but I'll tell you why I'm not. I know how people are, and friends with benefits is just the result of greed and laziness combined. People want to have the best of both worlds, friendship and physical intimacy, without the hard work that a committed relationship requires. It's just another result of modern society's need for instant gratification. It's so much better to wait for a real, loving, committed relationship...and no matter what you hear, physical relationships almost always end up hurting someone if there is no commitment.
