I seem to always be cooking some type of meat. Or even putting some type of meat in the dishes that I prepare. So I have quite a variety of different dishes that I would consider to be some of my favorite meat dishes quite honestly. I had to limit it down to two but these two I seem to be making quiet often or even every two weeks for me & my other half. I enclosed the two recipes if you are interested. I recommend trying them out as they are rather yummy! I hope if you try them you will see why these two are my favorite meat dishes in general! Thanks for allowing me to share! xx "Comfort Casserole." Ingredients are as follows: - 1 - 2 pounds of lean or regular ground beef - 1 cup of diced up onion - 1 cup of chopped celery - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1/4 of a teaspoon of pepper - 1 1/2 of a cup of sliced fresh mushrooms or caned mushrooms - 1 teaspoon of beef bouillon powder - 2 1/4 of a cup of boiling water - 1/4 of a cup of soya sauce - 1 - 2 cups of long grain white rice, uncooked Directions are as follows: - Firstly scramble fry the ground beef, along with the onion, celery, the minced garlic & the pepper in a skillet. Make sure to of course put oil on the bottom of the pan. Cook this in the skillet until the ground beef is no longer pink. Then drain the excess fat. - Afterwards add the mushrooms & sauté them for five minutes until tender. - Dissolve the beef bouillon powder in to the boiling water. And add the beef mixture. Mix very well.. - Stir in the soya sauce shortly afterwards & the rice. Then simmer uncovered for 30 - 40 minutes until the rice has become tender. Serve & ENJOY this unique dish! "Chili." Ingredients are as follows: - A pound of ground beef - 1/4 cup of diced onion - 3 cloves of garlic - 1 can of kidney beans - 3 tablespoons of chili powder - 1 can of manwich or tomato sauce (whichever you prefer) - 2-3 stems of celery - Then a little bit of shredded cheese to include or to mix in with the rest of the ingredients. As well grate some more cheese towards the end to put on the top when the dish is done being cooked. Directions are: - In a skillet, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink. Also include the: onion & garlic while cooking the ground beef. Drain the excess fat as you go as well. - Then transfer the ground beef to a large saucepan. Or pot. Then stir in the remaining ingredients & bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat, & cover for a half n hour.. To make sure that the celery isn't all to crunchy. Unless you like crunchy celery.. In that case if you want the celery to be crunchy just simmer everything for 10 - 15 minutes or at least until heated through. Then serve, & ENJOY! . .

Yum! I love chili and nearly all variations of it! I have never heard of adding Manwich-that seems like a very reasonable add in though! The comfort casserole sounds very good too-a little different with the soy sauce-thanks I will be trying them out soon.
