you read my mind :) I have first time heard blackbird on the radio not even in original version , someone else was singing it , but I knew by heart it was beatles :) And on more general note on the topic, I think they had over 250 best songs :)

I agree. In My Life is one of the best written songs by Lennon and it gets revived, re-arranged, and re-performed over and over by a lot of stars nowadays.

For me the theres no best song in the Beatles only greatest one and those are in the billboard no.1's.I would not say best,but id say that all beatles song are great and fantastic!what really hits me was Lennon's "IN MY LIFE"It is for me the Beatles best.
