Absolutely correct my dear. It is said one mans poison is another mans nectar. Like that beauty is only a relative word. What is beautiful to one need not necessarily be beautiful to another. It is indeed in the eyes of the looker. If beauty was a universal thing then many people would have been single. Every person looks beautiful to some person or the other. It is Gods way of matching people.

No, beauty does come from within. You can be as beautiful on the outside as you like, but you'll still appear ugly if you are a horrible person . I think that true beauty lies not within, but rather is emitted and outwardly present by those who are beautiful in their everyday. True beauty shouldn't be held within but shared with all so that it can be appreciated and aspired to.

I think this is very true. Definition of beauty is not the same for everyone. And also everybody's choice is different, I mean everybody does not like the same thing. As all this like and silike vary thats why the definition of beauty also vary person to person. So, if something is not beautiful according to you, but may be that is very beautiful according to me.

I think this is very true. My cousin is a very beautiful woman. She however married a man that everyone thinks is very homely. People always remark on "how did a guy like that end up with a woman like her". But she really loves him and they have been happily married for 20 years.

That is true. Everyone has different tastes in beauty. That's why you see everyone has a match, because someone not very goodlooking can be very beautiful to someone else. I know it's more than the looks too though.

Yes, I do. There isn't one definition of beauty. What I find beautiful, you might not. And, neither one of us would be wrong.

Absolutely. Just walk down the streets and you will see many couples who are "mis-matched". It is increasingly rare to find both parties "equal".

I believe that the saying that "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" is the exception not the rule. The saying is a myth probaly started by the same "they" that say "money can't buy happiness". Most people will agree on a beautiful sunset, sunrise, day, flower, tree, women or a million other things. I believe most humans have a similar sense of what beauty is. The disagreement is mostly about the degree of beauty not whether something is beautiful or not, in my opinion. Take care
