Tell us what, where, why they deduct from our earnings at the end of every month. It is not much for me this time (.37cents) but that still covers a lot of postings. I know the earnings given throughout the month are only "estimated" amounts but wouldn't you like to know what caused it and therefore be able to avoid these posts, discussions, etc. in the future?? I know I would.

I to had questions and asked for clarification from mylot, here is what I found out. They are currently deleting all discussions that are jokes as they feel that they are meaningless. They are also deleting discussions that are about other paying sites including responses that have your personal link in them. I shared the email regarding this in a discussion. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion as to what's being deleted here at mylot. :)

I know what you mean , I worked my socks off yesterday , had the laptop stuck to my knees ( hubby's words) most of the day and night and it went down and down , I was disappointed to say the least , don't get me wrong I love it here . one day weeks ago I made $2 I was over the moon but that seems to be going down too , are all the amounts going down ? I know its an added extra , and I love the new friends I have but when you See it there then it goes it saddens you a wee bit , Mind you I am not doing as many responses to others I cant help but respond to most of mine , I am having so much fun , xx

I to am disappointed, I love it here also. It's quite upsetting thought to see them drop though. I hope we don't see to much of a drop. :)

Me too since I posted this topic I have dropped another 3 cents so now I am minus 40 cents. The next response pretty much answers my question although I have never responded to any discussion with links to another paying site.

Hmmm, I didn't realise they did this. I obviously hadn't looked closely enough at my earnings. I sometimes really wonder if people earn decent amounts from My Lot?

I didn't realize they did this either! I am still very new to MyLot, so I am learning a little more each day.

If you go into mylot home,it does tell you what posts aren't acceptable and what will be deleted.....these posts,if you have replied to them will cause you to lose money....I've been there and learned,I lost almost a full $1.00 in 24 hours,I know it doesn't seem like a lot but when you think of all the work you did to earn it,it is.....I've learned to stay away from political and religion posts and I'm sure there's others out there too

I know I lost a bit to but I have to admit Whiteheather it does say that the earnings are estimated at first so that is probably what they mean

Jeepers, is it that time again? Well last month I had money added on but this month it looks about where it should be. Anyone who can figure out any of these mylot formulas will be my hero. I can't make hide nor hair of the rating system or the payment formula although I suspect that parts of each are random.

Well last month I was very careful about where and what I posted. I made about 15.00 extra from what I don't have any idea. So this month I have written down my total as of this morning to see if it happens again. I hope so because I only did about half the posting I did last month...lol But the cleanup usually lasts for a few days so maybe you will get some back..I'll keep my fingers crossed for you..wish I could be more help. I just try to follow the guidelines and stay out of the battles when I can..lol

Eeep! I had no idea it could actually go DOWN, rather than up! I guess a warning for the newbies! Thanks for this discussion, as I was totally unaware of this occurring. I guess this cleaning up is great for the forum, as I spot a lot of things that I would regard a spam, rather than constructive discussions. I'm just hoping what I think is spam is similar to what the powers that be up in myLot HQ is very similar!

Yes it does sadden us when we find that we have lost some of the earnings. We should try and avoid such postings in future.
