So - what's cookin' ?

that does sound good! a nice thick piece of bread? Baby spinach makes such a nice and colorful salad doesn't it? we have not had it for awhile due to the e-coli scare, but last week the store had bags marked at 99cents, so I gave in. Boy was it good to have again. We've had it in salads and casseroles and sauted with mushrooms and onions with tofu. I bought a lot of it, hehe. maybe this year we will have the mind to grow our own.

Yes the bread was a round, unsliced loaf from a local grocery store's bakery. So I cut the slices about an inch thick and then topped them. OH! But I forgot to tell you that I toasted the bread in the toaster before adding all the toppings! We havne't had spincah in a long time either. In fact this is the first that we have (I think) since all the news about the e-coli.

That sounds wonderful too, love the vast variety of vegies on the menu. Two of my daughters could eat through five pounds of carrots if I had the mind to cook that many up at once. Love greens. What do you put on (in) yours?

Mint sauce/jelly , salt and pepper for the greens and gravy for the rest its very yummy

ohhh, don't you just love the aroma of Jasmine Rice? It is right up there with wild rice for me, such an inviting scent. I have not had spring rolls in a dozen years, sometimes we will have Lumpia, they might be considered spring rolls, not sure.

Liver, mmmm, my husband would love to eat at your house tonight! I have never heard of Pizza Pops, but understand the desire to want to avoid the hassle of getting them to eat liver, and anything with the word pizza in it has to be good, right?

That is what has been requested for our Sunday Meal. Toss up between the broccoli and brussel sprouts though. I have frozen bags with both mixes, the brussel sprout cauliflower has baby carrots with it as well.

What a great program, very community minded of Chick-fil-a. I reckon that helps the school spirit too :) I hope you all had a marvelous time!
