I have not done yet. Every year I find this one exercise very difficult. I tried all mehods - Manual submission, E filing, using auditor, using H&R block. But all the methods are difficult and make me feel sick every time I have to do it. How do you feel? People like me, what do you do to go through this pain?

I always do our taxes. I actually find them easy to do and in the rare occasion I do run into a problem, my nephew's grandma worked for the IRS, so I just call her.

I already sent my federal taxes in - but that is because I am getting a refund. I didn't send my state yet - because I am waiting for my county to send the property tax statement so that I can include it for a tax deduction. I wish they would send those in line with everything else for tax period! I also hate doing taxes - but I find Turbo Tax makes it fairly painless. I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years now.

We already filed our taxes this year. I tried to do it online with e-file but I had so much paperwork and information to put in, it got too confusing. I couldn't figure out where to put everything in that I wanted to claim for a deduction. I ended up taking all of our paperwork to Jackson Hewitt and let them do it and I am glad that I did because we ended up getting a little bit back instead of having to pay in when I figured it all up.

I just filed my taxes a few days back. Using online filing for me and I didn't have any other choice. It used to be that I can choose between manual offline filing and online filing. But I received a letter saying that since I did my filing online last year, I have to do it via the internet again this year. ?!?$##!!! Anyway who am I to fight against the mighty rule of the government. So I sucked my thumb and filed my taxes online - not that I would want to do it manually anyway since online is more convenient.

Belonging to a family of lawyers has it's own advantages, lol.I can always turn to my dad if I have a problem with them although I hardly ever do.Yesterday itself our Finance minister announced our budget and I am very happy about the consiquential implications it will have over our taxation.I think a CA could definitely help with the taxes.I also think that companies should file the returns of all their employees and reduce their burden for them.If we are professionals, independent business owners or self employed ,then till a certain level of income government should provide us free chartered accountants to help us with the taxes coz anyway ,the money is to be utilized for the welfare of people once it's in the treasury.
