When I was pregnant with my 1st son I craved tuna fish - I have to eat it for lunch and dinner ~ I ate soooo much tuna it was nuts, but I just couldn't get enough of it. With my 2nd son I really did not have any specific cravings which I thought was strange. What did you crave? Anything unusual?

When I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, who is now 21, I craved tomato juice. I craved it so much, I was drinking 1 - 2 quarts a day! I'd go to the grocery store, and only buy tomato juice! Funny thing is, through her whole childhood and to this day, she HATES tomatoes!! :)

My favorite food when I was pregant was mexican food. I craved those hot spices. I did eat alot of dill pickles and ice cream too though. I always ate these types foods anyway before I got pregnant. I ate them even more when I was pregant with my child. I still eat and love these foods to this day. I don't think I will ever get tired of eating mexican food. My favorite restaurant was Tumbleweed Bar and Grill. They had an awesome beef burrito, queso cheese dip, salsa, and chips. I'm craving it right now as I type this. I could eat it 24/7. Have you ate at this restaurant before?

I've never heard of that restaurant, but it sure sounds good! I love hot mexican foods too! My family likes milder food, but the hot is fine for me. Now you've got me thinking of spicy food for lunch!~ lol

no i didn hv any craving during my prgnancy, although many ladies feel like eating something special, but as per scitific reason, if u lack any vitamin or minerals or such nutrients u tend to eat the perticular food which gives u tht perticular thngs.......so if u dont crave anything special its much normal.

I craved watermelon, tomatoes, grapefruit, hush puppies, and Thai food. Hot red curry with coconut milk and lots of tofu! Also ice cream... I really think for me the main thing was that I craved variety. If I had eaten something (except for the above foods) within 2 weeks I couldn't eat it again. I remember my husband laughing at me because I would put two watermelons in the cart when we went shopping, then I'd come home and eat a whole one in one day... I just couldn't get enough of that cold, crispy, sweet watermelon!

My first pregnancy I wanted McDonald cheeseburgers. But I also found out that if I ate something with meat in it every 2-3 hours I didn't have the nausa. My second child - I don't remember anything specific. My third child it was french vanilla ice cream with strawberry jam and occasionally chocolate syrup.

I ate gallons of ice cream when I was pregnant both times. Also with my first, before I knew I was expecting I was having bacon sandwiches with my husband and I suddenly thought how good this would be with a banana on it, my husband couldn't believe it when I asked him if he wanted a banana on his and nearly was ill when I put one on mine and ate it, I loved bacon and banana sandwiches after that.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved ice cream. And she turned out so sweet, LOL! With my son, I craved my mother's Italian cooking. She even came over here a few times just to cook for me.

Doughnut holes, peanut butter, jalapeno peppers and watermelon. All my boys were born with lots of hair and I chalk that up to the peppers; I never eat hot food so when I get a craving for jalapenos I break out in a cold sweat LOL. If I had a nickle for every tie I went through the Taco Bell drive through at 3 in the morning asking for a Belle Grande with extra peppers ... I would indeed be a rich woman.

i dont really think i craved anything very unusual during my pregnancy. but the things i craved were chicken nuggets, anything strawberry flavored (which is odd for me because i cant stand strawberry flavored foods), and hot dogs! now i cant eat hot dogs anymore after getting sick from them during my pregnancy but my son really likes them alot, as well as the chicken nuggets lol.
