What kind of cleaner(s) do you use?

Awhile ago I received in the mail, a product to test, and found that I haven't had to clean my bath/shower since I began using it...I have a bad back and it's hard for me to bend over and scrub anything, let alone the tub. The product is, Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner...It's so great; you just hang it over the shower nozzle and after every shower you push the button and a about 10 seconds later it automatically sprays a cleaner on your walls and shower curtain for about 12 seconds. The liquid lasts for about 40 cleanings; I haven't had to clean since then because it drips down walls and into tub. I will never use another cleaner, and, I got the shower caddy as an extra gift; where you can hang your razors or place bar soap or shampoo... What types of cleaners could you not do without; that make your live easier?

Vinegar, soda, and salt are all favorites of mine. I like old fashioned ammonia. On most cleaning products I will get a generic, but for dish washing liquid, give me Dawn. I mix it with ammonia and water to make a pretreatment for my laundry. It cuts any kind of grease. I like to put salt, lemon juice and crushed ice in my coffee pot and swish it around, it cuts the coffee scum.

You bet...the soda and salt are great as well; never thought of Dawn and ammonia for laundry, though. Thanks for the tip, Gerty; and your coffee pot cleaner mixture works great as well.

I have wanted to buy this one, but Hubby refuses to allow the purchase. Maybe when we get a bit more funds he won't mind so much. He of course is one to use elbow grease to get the job done.

I know what you mean. It's like 'pulling teeth' to get my husband to agree with any purchase other than what he wants. If I had my own income there wouldn't be any discussion at all; I'd just buy what I want, when I want. But, alas, until my online ventures start making me a substantial income I have to suffer.

I love baking soda also , as well as the ones above. It works wonders on so many things. I use the orange cleaners a lot as I like the smell of them. I hate pine-sol, the smell makes it hard for me to breathe! I have wondered about the shower cleaner, I have a shower curtain, not enclosed, do you think it would just make more of a mess, by going all over? I am afraid it would.

That's all that we have, a shower curtain and it still works really well. Just make sure that the walls are wet as well as curtain, so that the cleaner can do it's job. I found out the hard way and had to spray down parts of the shower walls that weren't wet but that only takes a few seconds; well worth it. Let me know if you try it and what you think...lol

I use Scrubbing Bubbles in the spray can. I must admit it's one of the best cleaning products I ever used. I brings everthing to a nice clean shine. I spray it, then let it set for a minute and wipe it off. It's a very good product. I will have to try the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. Lloyd
